This advertisement was first released in the 1950's, it's showing a young child eating a stick of butter, with a fork, portraying its benefits. Nowadays we know that this obviously misleading the customer into thinking eating butter is good for their health when we know that since butter is high in calories and fat it plays a part in raising cholesterol levels. In the advertisement, it's claimed that "butter is slipery, that's why we eat as much as possible to lubricate our arteries and veins" but that doesn't even make sense, too much butter can bring heart disease since too much fat can block the arteries, it doesn't lubricate it, there's no need to anyways. Of course, in today's world, an advertisement like this would get called out immediately by authorities, since this kind of thing is not allowed anymore, but back then industries like the diary and cigarette industry would take advantage of the people.
